“Silent Odyssey” on Saturday, September 20 at UP Theater

Guys, quick reminder again for my Filipino blog readers out there especially the deaf. This is your film presented in a balanced and unbiased way. Please support this by watching its premiere showing this September 20 at the UP Film Center Theater.

Here is the email I recently received from Noemi, one of the movie’s organizer:

Hello Jojo!

Thank you very much for promoting the film in your blog! It was well written! We appreciate it very much.

We have not really thought about an international release but if you do know of people or organizations outside the Philippines who would like to co-sponsor the film, please do refer them to us.

Meanwhile, we hope you can encourage people to start reserving their tickets for the SEPTEMBER 20 premiere by emailing silentodyssey@gmail.com. Will we see you and your friends at the premiere? 🙂

Paging international organizations! Please help us release this film to other countries by co-sponsoring it. If you’re interested, you may contact Ms. Noemi Jara at Tel. No. (632)526-7441 local 239, Mobile 63927-2246584 or email her at silentodyssey@gmail.com. 🙂

Silent Odyssey captures the cry of the Deaf soul through an intricate tapestry of images, sound and color – indeed a poetic documentary that only Mirana Medina can create. – Marie Therese Bustos, PhD (UP Special Education Area)

  1. Hi Jojo,

Just a gentle reminder: your blog entry title says the premiere will be on Sept. 21, the date is on Sept.20 🙂
